K. Jayapreethi is an award winning professional calligraphy & engraving artist and the Founder of Sol & Vervain. Based in Chennai, she owns and runs her calligraphy business where she provides calligraphy personalization services to luxury brands, weddings, events and premium gifting clients, both on-site and in-studio. She teaches calligraphy workshops for creatives as public workshops and for corporate companies as team-building art therapy workshops. Her clients include Porsche, Mercedes Benz, TVS Sundaram Motors, BMW, Beach Castle Luxury Resort, Mini Cooper, Forever New, Urological Society of India, India Post, Kamal Haasan and more.  

Jayapreethi was a speaker at NHRD's Welcon 24, a national wellness conference at ITC Grand Chola. She owns 2 legal copyright registered certificates from the copyright office of the Government of India for her innovation of 2 unique calligraphy styles named 'Rich and Royal - Unique English Style' and ' Rajareega Iligidham - Unique Tamil Style' that she had researched, developed and created. She is an award winning calligrapher who has won multiple awards namely the KLRC Award from the Government of South Korea's LTI, Grateful Appreciation Award from National Human Resource Development, Workshop Facilitator Appreciation Award from India Post, Tree Certificate Honor from Prasiddhi Forest Foundation where she has been honoured with 5 trees planted for biodiversity on her Name and an Appreciation Award from the Urological Society of India honouring her company Sol & Vervain.

She was a science student in school, got graduated in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, got placed & worked in a corporate company after UG and went on to pursue a Masters in Engineering at Anna university and again worked in a 9 to 5, she one day decided to turn her passion into her profession thus launching her start-up company Sol & Vervain.

Being specialized in modern calligraphy, brush pen calligraphy, pointed pen calligraphy, monoline calligraphy & faux calligraphy for on-paper and non-paper surfaces, both English and Tamil calligraphy with legally copyright registered innovative styles, hand engraving, pyrography, product painting, digital iPad calligraphy, creating monograms, watercolour painting, large scale window murals, hand lettering and most importantly teaching, she is all set to work.
